Pasmatex launched a very important project which will be finalized with the construction of a new plant in the industrial area of Timisoara, which is situated in Calea Torontalului.
At the end of the project, the whole activity will be relocated and will take place in a new and modern edifice, which will respond to all of the social, energetic and environment demands, simultaneously with the rising of the competitiveness.
The actual location, placed in an ultra central area in Timisoara, on the Jiul Street No.2, will be sold by auction.

The clothing manufactory was founded on the 1st of June 1919 as an individual company, being called “Industria de tricotaje”. In 1920, its machine were mechanized and in 1921, buying 5 ribbon looms, the factory started producing this new item. On June 11th 1948 the factory was given the name “13 Decembrie”. At that time, the factory was equipped with 22 ribbon looms and had a total of 48 employees. Between 1965 and 1970 there was a series of investments in equipment, as well as in building new production space. Thus, in the period 1970-1980, the factory was endowed with modern equipment, which allowed for a significant increasing production (needle weaving machines for the production of zippers, woven elastic bands and machines with jacquard devices for weaving tags and decorative bands). In 1990 the firm was transformed into a joint-stock company, also changing its name into “PASMATEX”, at present with 100% private capital and social capital of 450.375 lei. Since then, the company has continuously diversified its production and acquired new state-of-the-art equipments from the well-known swiss company Jacob Mueller. “PASMATEX” is fully equipped for a complete technological process (warping, quilling, weaving, dyeing, confectioning, finishing, wrapping), the materials and fabrics used being polyamide, polyester, cotton and cotton-like materials, polypropylene, rayon, natural rubber, elastomers , dyes and chemical textile auxiliaries. |
